Our Outstanding GCVC Coaching Staff

2018 Coaches

Coach Vivian Bekke

Hi I’m Vivian Bekke but prefer to go by Coach Viv. I have played volleyball since I was in 3rd grade and started coaching volleyball, basketball and track straight out of high school. I have been coaching in the middle schools and for a USA travel team and can’t wait to add GCVC to my list. I think the best part of being a coach is building a strong relationship with your athletes because it’s clear you both already have such a clear passion for what you’re doing.

I’m currently attending Casper College seeking a elementary education degree with an endorsement in middle school education. After that I plan on getting my masters in special education. I can’t wait to start this chapter and be apart of all the growth every athlete is about to show from the upcoming season.

I started playing volleyball at the boys and girls club around age 7, I played for ECVC for a year before switching to GCVC, playing for them for a total of 5 years. Now that I am no longer playing I’m excited to give coaching a try!

This will be my first year coaching and I am looking forward to motivating my team to do the best of their abilities and further their knowledge of volleyball.

Coach Kylie Jones

Hi my name is Kylie Jones. I have been coaching for 6 years. I found my interest for coaching after I finished playing volleyball in high school. Since I have graduated, I have been coaching school and club volleyball.

When I am not coaching you can find me spending time with my family and friends or teaching. I am excited about this upcoming year as I get to share my love of volleyball with young athletes.

Coach Natalie

Hello my name is Natalie.
I am SO excited to be a coach for GCVC. I played volleyball for 7 years in total, competitively along with just whenever I could get my hands on a ball. One of my fondest memories was getting to travel with my teams for gcvc back in the day! I hope the girls are just excited as I was and am for this season.

Since then, I’ve been going to school for business and will have my associates degree at the end of this fall semester. I also lived in Hawaii this summer and made sure to get some good games of beach volleyball in! I can’t wait to bond with my team over my love for volleyball, traveling and a good time.

Coach Emily Robertson

Hello, my name is Emily Robertson! I am a highly competitive person and love to play basketball and volleyball. I just finished two years of playing basketball for Casper College, and now want to begin my coaching career.

I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade and have had some of the best coaches along the way that were very positive role models. In high school I won a volleyball and basketball State Championship and was on All-State volleyball and basketball player as well.

My goal for coaching is to give the girls an opportunity to learn the important fundamental, be highly competitive, and to be a positive and encouraging role model for girls competing in sports.

Coach Amy Allaire

Amy has played volleyball since 6th grade. She has coached and helped run camps since 8th grade. In addition to high school volleyball, Amy played club volleyball for Delta Valley out of Stockton, CA. She played Division 1 collegiate volleyball for the University of California at Irvine, making the Big West Conference All Freshman team her first year. Recently Amy was inducted into her high school’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

This will be Amy’s third year coaching for GCVC. She thinks the best part of coaching is getting to work with such great kids and seeing them grow both their game and their confidence.

Amy is married to Robert Allaire and they have four school-aged kids. She continues to play volleyball, tennis and basketball in between coaching. She loves getting outside and being active, reading and all things related to good food!
